Special deals, "70s and over", and benefits related offers are subject to funding availability and conditions, safe access and installation rules.   You may have to pay more than the stated standard cost if:

• your property is larger than average for the number of bedrooms
• access is difficult (especially if scaffolding or non-standard work or materials are required)
• if extra ventilation is required to comply with current building regulations when cavity wall insulation is fitted.

Free loft top ups for "70s and overs" and benefits recipients are currently offered only where the depth of existing loft insulation does not exceed 2.5 inches (60mm).
